R-Panel is best described as the big heavy duty brother of our Apex panel. R-panel is typically made of thicker metal and the design itself is even more capable. R-Panel is used for commercial projects almost exclusively.
Like our apex panel, R-panel is cut to length per order. So if you need a 13’3″ sheet that is exactly what you pay for and get. Saving you money, time and allowing you to have a seamless sheet from the ridge to the eave.
Purlin Bearing Leg
R-Panel offers an optional purlin bearing leg. The Purlin Bearing Leg creates more area for the next panel to overlap allowing even greater spans over open framing and creating an even more weather tight seal
Span Open Framing
R Panel is capable of spanning open framing up to 2′, when used for roofing. The optional purlin bearing leg makes R-Panel capable of spanning up to 5′ of open framing.
