The first. The original. The Classic. Classic Seam was the very first machine formed panel that Goodhew Metal Sales ever manufactured, way back in the early 90s. And to this day it is easily our most popular product. Installed on tens of thousands of jobs; houses, garages, barns, businesses, and industrial facilities across the country.

Classic Seam is manufactured in two different versions; CS150 & CS100. The difference between the two being CS100 has a 1″ standing seam, while CS150 utilizes a 1.5″ seam height. For 99% of jobs, the difference is just visual. Using a smaller seam height allows the panels of the CS100 to be a bit wider, while the 1.5″ seams of the CS150 result in a narrower panel. This is allows the homeowner to get the exact look they are going for.

Floating Clips

Classic Seam Uses a floating clipsystem that allows for completely seamless installs.
Without inhibiting the panels thermal expansion needs of the roof/metal. The male side of each panel is fastened to the roof deck using a clip and screw. The female side of the next panel then snaps down onto the fastened panels male leg, covering the clips and screws.

Profile Options

Oil Canning is phenomena  where metal looks wavy, and it is a huge concern to many customers. Shadow Ribs eliminate the possibility of oil canning.  Flat & Clip Relief panels will be wavy.

Shadow Ribs also create the illusion of a constantly changing color, because the extra ribs create extra shadows. At some points during the day you won’t even notice the shadow ribs are there.
